Hi,
I have downloaded the software but it is continuously giving me error "We're having problems connecting to the GMAC servers...." . I need this software as I purchased the exam packs in Mar'18 and did not get any information regarding changing the codes and it seems that the old codes can work only on GMAT prep offline software.

I have my GMAT coming up. A quick resolution will be really helpful.

PS: Is there anybody else with working GMAT prep software or somebody who was able to get this issue resolved.

I hope the servers haven't gone offline permanently. Anyway, you could also try sending them an email asking for replacement codes. The exchange window is officially over, but someone posted that he or she was able to get new codes after asking politely. It's worth a shot.

I am facing similar issue since the last on month. It never worked for me. I tried it on three different machines, different networks but all of them gave the same error.

I even contacted the GMAC supoort, but I never heard back from them.

Why are you trying to install the software? The new version is accessible online: https://gmatofficialprep.mba.com/SarasExamPrep#/home

It does not look like it is going to work again. You need to use the online version fo the GMAT Prep since the old one is now "unofficially" discontinued.
However, keep nagging GMAC as it would be good to get an official message/resolution/confirmation from them. It is a shame, frankly.

Hey buddy,

you are not alone with this problem.

There are a couple of topics around this issue on this forum, unfortunately GMAC has not responded to this issue up to now (to my knowledge)

You're probably not going to get a response from them anytime soon, and I don't think they have any systems in place to help you.

There was an offer to replace codes that had been purchased recently (between Jan 16, 2018 and April 15, 2018 and the request had to be sent to [email protected] by May 11, 2018). I suggest you drop them an email requesting replacement codes. They may decide to help out. While you're at it, mention that the GMATPrep software doesn't work anymore and just gives a message saying that it is unable to reach the authentication servers. I think they should take that into consideration.

hello Guys,
Just an update on this for the people who are struggling with similar issue. GMAT prep software did not work.
But I was able to get new codes for EP1 and EP2.
