I was taking a GMAT prep exam today and about 20 minutes into my first section, everytime i submitted an answer the screen would say "Please wait evaluating answer" for almost 10 seconds while the clock in the background would still count down. That happened for the next few questions getting stuck on that screen longer each time. Then finally it just sticks on please wait and I cant get out of the window and had to close my exam. Now I've essentially wasted an exam. Anyone else have this issue?

Hi teamryan15,

Over the last few weeks, I’ve read about various bugs that have been happening with the online GMAC practice exams. Have you given GMAC a call to discuss the issue?

Hi Scott,

I will try calling. I sent an email days ago and have not received a response.

Sorry to hear about your issue as well. It seems the new GMAT Prep Online Softare is a very leaky boat. I have decided to collect some issue reports for "fun" in one place to give you an idea of how much support issues they are dealing with. I would usually say "Enjoy" but I think that's wildly inappropriate here: https://gmatclub.com/forum/master-list- ... 71874.html

I faced the same issue a few days ago. Reached out to GMAC, but they haven't responded yet.

And I doubt they will, except to offer very general responses.

Ouch.
I held off buying exam packs #3 and #4 because of this problem. Guess I'll stick to MGMAT CATs for now.

Since it seems they have just disabled ability to install the GMAT Prep Software, and the online system is buggy, this seems to leave us with fewer and fewer options.
I tried installing versions of GMAT Prep from previous editions - all the way back to 2012, and that's the only version that seems to be working: GMAT Prep 2.1.277

Good News: it works!

http://gmatclub.com/static/files/GMATPrep-2.1.277.exe

This version was the first one released after GMAT was updated to include IR.
This version does NOT require logging in to mba.com

Bad News: I can't activate any QP's or EP's

Just took another exam through the website and lost about 2 minutes on verbal because of the loading screen. Ended up not finishing my test because of it. Emailed them with no response.

Hope the screen will not make me wait in the GMAT Test Center. Or is it the same there?

The infrastructure behind the actual GMAT is a lot better, so you are unlikely to face this problem during your test.

At least as long they don't decide to move the actual GMAT to the new GMATPrep platform

GMAC replied, they have fixed the issue. The delay has reduced from ~10-15 seconds per question to ~1-2 seconds per question for me.

Will test again when I take the next practice test in the next few days.

I faced this issue today in practice exam 1. I don't think this is fixed as they claim.

Has anyone figured out how to fix this or get past it? I just finished my final practice exam before my real exam on Saturday and it's frozen on "Please wait..
Your question is being evaluated" after I submit my AWA.
I tried quitting and reopening it, restarting chrome, clearing the cache, and a different browsers. I could really use my score from this so I'm pretty pissed off.

Have you reached out to the folks at GMAC to troubleshoot the issue?

I just experienced the same. exact. issue. I'm livid that I essentially wasted 3+ hours and have no concept of how I did!?

I don't have time to do additional practice exams prior to test day. What a friggin joke! The page won't even let you reload or anything. It's simply showing an icon of a book with its pages flipping in the center of the webpage while it says "Please wait, your question is being evaluated". It has been 10 minutes with this up already. What a waste!!!

The date of today is 9th of December and we still face the same problem. I am really really pissed off. What a waste of money it was!!! I purchased and it is the very right to expect the service is provided without any problem. Once in every two question it stucked on "please wait", I am not exaggerating. This destroyed my time and the quality of CAT simulation.
Such a simple tool especially... Then one expects to give the money back.

I can feel the frustration as i have gone through the same thing before. However, i recommend you to have patience and give the test another shot on some other day.

Dealing with the same issue right now, it's happened to be before and it loaded after a few minutes but this time it seems like it's frozen...
