:-D Too funny! Thank you for a speedy suggestion!
You can actually use CTRL+F after you open one of the drop downs to locate the needed Question Type or Source ;)

Glad you liked the Question Banks feature! This saves a step and hopefully improves the functionality without too much of usability degradation.

Hi Bb,
It's working fine. However,i find the current layout in practice GMAT section a little better, in which members have the access to all the possible options in a single page with out having to scroll up or down to choose.

I also noticed that unlike before, now we can filter questions (ex: 700-Difficulty+GMATprep+Geometry) in the practice section.
And this is awesome and very helpful.
For a suggestion, the current filter would be appear much better if the users have the option to search the desired option/difficulty/source in filter section.
I am extremely sorry if i happened to cross the limit.
I am Software Tester by profession.So i can't help.

Good day,
Manas

Thanks bb,

This is working great and really helpful. My only suggestion is that "Can we add QUESTION TYPE filter in error log. Right now we have three filters there i.e FORUM, DIFFICULTY, and SOURCE. If we add QUESTION TYPE (assumption, geometry, inference etc) it will also help I believe.

Many thanks for this NEW feature. :)

Great work bb,I have been waiting for this feature for a while now.But with the source why can’t I get say “Bunuel” or ability to type any name for the source ,The source seems limiting.
Say I want to solve only 600-700 level Probability questions posted by Bunuel or posted by say Veritas Karishma ,How do I go about that bb?

Hi. That's an interesting idea - following an author....
One way to accomplish it - You can filter the questions by the type you are looking for (e.g. Difficulty only or Type) and then sort them by the Author. it works best if you can limit a few parameters (e.g. Arithmetic and 700-level).

Thx,
BB.

Thanks for the question. Can you tell me a little bit more why you want to follow the specific filtered questions?

The only way to accomplish this today, is to save the link as a bookmark in your browser and manually open it on the daily or weekly basis to see which questions are highlighted in orange or at the top of your list and therefore had new posts in them.

Hi bb,

Right now when I press the "follow topic" button, any new replies are notified via email to me. I wanted to create a filter which would allow me to get email notifications for all the filtered questions in my inbox.

Hi. You could bookmark the search results and save them in your browser AFTER you click the orange filter button.
The url will look something like this: https://gmatclub.com/forum/problem-solv ... 87&start=0
(this one is for algebra and arithmetic in PS that is 700-level)

Thank you for the reply. I am wondering WHY though. You would potentially get a notification about this reply https://gmatclub.com/forum/the-function ... l#p2277054 in a topic that already has 20+ replies. Do you really want to get notifications about replies in threads with a bunch of comments already? I am just wondering why you are looking for it and how it would be useful. Thank you - appreciate if you could clarify.

Thanks!
BB

This feature is very useful. Combined with the new feature(refer link) it would work buttery-smooth. :dazed :-D
https://gmatclub.com/forum/new-feature- ... 10971.html

So what i liked is whenever i search for a particular-level question/s of any topic/s provided by any testprep company, i get X number of questions per page and Y number of pages. Till this point its good.
Clicking one of the questions takes to that question's page on the same tab.

But here's what i thought the search feature might lose its sheen. The question page which opens has next/previous topic button. Here's the catch(or maybe i am missing a point) that if i click on the next button i am taken to a question that may/may not be of different level/source(of-course different topic). On clicking next button again i get a question of different topic on a new page same tab which might be very confusing. :? bb that is what i meant in my comment in the above link.

So, the point is, my initial search for a specific level, specific topic question by a specific testprep company gives results may lead to a question(opened on same tab upon clicking) from different topic if i click next button. :|

For the time being i could find the alternative as:
If i want to do those particular questions i have to go on the same results page by clicking back button in the browser(its nice that the results remain there  kudos..!!)
OR
To not get into a mess, just open the question link(from the results page) in a new tab and close it when done. Then open the another questions from the same results page in new tab and so on...

Hope i am able to convey my point clearly. :)

Hi BB,

Great suggestion. I have started to bookmark as you said but just want to know if there is an option to filter questions that I haven't attempted before. I am taking my gmat second time and exhausting all the questions. In the process, I usually end up scrolling through all the questions manually and searching for the unanswered questions.

There's no such feature that you can filter questions that are not attempted yet. Manually searching is the only option as of now.
It you have burned up all the questions then you can chose to do
1. The questions in which you faltered (at least some 8 weeks ago for example)
2. Questions in which you took more than 2 minutes - ones in which you answers are shown red

Both you can do so by applying you normal approach, forgetting that you have already done it. Does not matter even if you still remember the answer. That will help in your confidence building on approach part.
