Hi everyone,

I have 6 years and 9 months of professional experience as a Consultant with the Ministry of Environment, Government of India. For the past 16 months, I have been on a career break due to childcare responsibilities. I’m now preparing to re-launch my career and am planning to take the GMAT in September 2025 with the goal of joining a top-tier business school in India for the 2026 intake.

I would appreciate insights on:

What would be considered a competitive GMAT score for top Indian programs like ISB, IIM Lucknow (IPMX), and SPJIMR?

What are the acceptance rates or chances for candidates with my profile—strong public sector experience and a recent career break?

What should be a good strategy for someone who has 3 weeks left for their exam? I am aiming for 715+ and getting 685+ on mocks (not OGs). I have all 6 OG tests left. And plan to utilize them now.

Have you given an official mock now? How did you fare?

A good way to proceed is to identify your weaknesses, practice questions in that area, and increase your accuracy.

Hi! I am planning to take the test end May/ Mid June. I am getting a score of 495/475, I need a score of 525. Mostly I am lacking now at DI and Verbal. Is there any way I can improve the score? Any tips, platform to practice, strategy wise, everything is welcome and appreciated. Thank you so much!

If speed is increased by 1/5 then time will decrease by 1/6, we need either blue much early bus reach or we need distance.

Hence answer B

Hi.
I'm 27 yo from Indonesia, with 5 yr working in FMCG, now as production manager. I have 3,38 gpa and 2x job promotions. i will take gmat test in june 5th, wish me luck.
I've done several mock test. 695 in gmatclub, 4x official mock test (the lowest 655 and the highest is 695), and 7x in expertglobal (range 625-665). I have 10 mock test left (2 official mock + 8 expertglobal). I'm the type of test takers who aim to get 88-90 in Q, 84-88 in DI, and 79-82 in V (I know, my verbal is bad). I learnt gmat using offical guide and also question bank in gmatclub.

So far, i think the Q & DI in expert global is harder than offical mock test.
After MBA, i want to work in FMCG (Higher/more strategic roles), Corporate or Consulting; in either US or Indonesia. My dream Campuss is MIT Sloan, but i dont know whether my subpar gpa (3,38) will be an issue. my other choice will be Haas and Ross. i aim to apply in R1 2026 (September 2025)

my question is..
1. What Gmat score should i aim?
2. To get scholarship from campuss, is it true that higher gmat score will give more chance of scholarship?
