The number 75 can be written as the sum of the squares of three different positive integers. What is the sum of these integers.

D. 14

Well start by makin a small number chart to help u match the 75

1 1
2 4
3 9
4 16
5 25
6 36
7 49

Now u need something to match 75 so after several tries u can catch that 49+1+25 makes it

therefore 7+1+5 is a solution

Agree with spiridon, and with the same method - I think that's the fastest way to do it, especially when you see the answer choices are all <20, then there can't be so many options to choose from
