Just received an interview invite!!! The mail mentions that the interview deadline is March 2. Also, when I go for scheduling.. only Sat slots are available with alumni. TO be exact, 12 slots.

me too. dunno where i went wrong. i wrote a great set of essays. really spent a lot of time on them. believed i was a good fit. Dont understand how i got dinged without an interview.

@shreister: I understand your pain. I was quite confident with my profile as well but prob there are just too many great candidates this year :(

Edit: I logged in the opus account and was informed it's not there so I assumed they deleted my account. Great way to know you are dinged! Good luck to everyone else.

Are u sure that your account got deleted??? I know even I would get the dinged status soon but I believe we can check that in the account..
Hopefully my account does not get deleted.. :wink:

I can see my account and nothing has changed on it yet. I did not expect to change as i haven't received any communication what so ever.

Given how close we are to the decision date, I believe all is lost.

I guess it wasn't meant to be....Bummer

I certainly do send a thank you note to my interviewer post interviews; I believe it's good to do so.

I guess my question is more specific to skype interviews. In my case, my interviewer did not give me her contact info and I would have to get it from the school's directory.

For in person interviews, the interviewers always follow up with a business card so it's easy to send a thank you letter.

For Skype interviews, the interviewer does not usually give their email id, but you can ask. I did the same with my interviewer from Goizueta. But, you can also check the school directory and send a than you note; either way works.

Reading all the comments here I guess its game over for me now. Applied on deadline day it was the best ranked school I applied to for 1 year program.

:( So no chance of even an interview invite now .

I hope so, but in my interview last week they sounded pretty firm on releasing results tomorrow.
