Without driving ourselves TOO crazy trying to interpret the invitation tea leaves, if we assume that apps are generally divided by industry/geography, should I abandon my hope for next week if I know my coworker received an invite earlier this AM?

Still interpreting tea leaves at this point. Don't give up yet, even if it's only 25% of invites left that's still a decent chunk.

Invite next week or not, we will all receive a notification of our status, right? Invite versus waitlist versus release?

Nothing for me... feel pretty gutted.

Any NGO/Non-profit candidates receive invites? North America or elsewhere?

Same here... but lets wait another week. Has anyone more experienced than me checked the stats on the first page of this topic? Right now 5 people updated their status, out of maybe 200 that applied in the first round. Is that representative? does anyone know what to expect for next week based on previous years?

I'm an NGO/Non-profit candidate based in Israel and I did not receive anything yet...

Me too..I'm exhausted. Even a red bull couldn't pick me up off the floor.

So the best I have to run off of is in the Director's blog post from January 13, 2012. "The pattern of interview invitation volume in Round 1 was: Week 1 (first wave of invitations): 750 invitations sent Week 2 (second wave): 80 invitations sent Week 3 (third/final wave): 25 invitations sent" So, based off of that, our chances next week are not good. Obviously, there are two rounds now instead of three. But 88% of invites were sent on the first day. Things could be different now, but I'm not getting my hopes up.
