i'll kick this off - i know that i got a lot out of looking at the profiles of admitted students from previous years:

-admitted in round 1
-military applicant with a "public ivy" education and humanities degree (~3.7 GPA)
-submitted my GRE score, as my GMAT was pretty terrible (my GRE equated to about a ~740 on the GMAT, although I know it's not the same thing)
-28 years old
-no real strong extracurriculars, but i was able to emphasize my leadership in the military, so i think it balanced out

i had my interview over Skype. most of my questions centered on my experience in college and my current job.

hope this helps other applicants! looking to meeting everyone next fall :)

Going to the ASW.

Didn1t receive anything on the mail, but I am amazed by the number of people, both from HBS, current students and alumni, that have reached out to me in the past week. Feels great to be wanted by HBS.

Received the Welcome Package today! Based in the UK, so you'll all probably get it in the next couple of days.
Nice and super professional like everything HBS.

Probably going to give the ASW a skip, since I only recently visited the school (pre-interview)
Look forward to meeting you all next fall.

I would say 5-10 people.

Current students from Brazil, alumni from Brazil, Harvard people, etc. I am amazed and feeling really unique. Seems like it's something truly special to be "matched" to HBS.

Hello people,

Need your advice. I made format changes to my CV at last minute and, in copy-pasting, got my timelines of positions mixed up (two positions even overlap for sometime). I was expecting it to come up in my interview but it didn't.

Now the starting, ending positions and overall time spent at the company remains correct but the exact distribution of time isn't. I am not sure how it will look in employment verification process. Any ideas, opinions on it?

I am sure it'll be fine, I wouldn't stress about it. I think more than anything they are just making sure you worked where you said you did.

The letter, a #NextStopHBS sign, and one other item.

Curious if anyone who completed any of the checklist items received a "completed" checkmark by an administrator yet?

They checked off my core diagnostics, but that's it

Same. I'm assuming there's a backlog due to their holiday break.
