Dear MVK,
I am sorry to hear that you did not do as well on the GMAT as intended. However, I want you to realize that GMAT is just a test, a relatively easy one compared to the ones you will face post your MBA. I know that it may seem like an insurmountable obstacle but it’s very conquerable provided you are willing to put in the effort to ace the same.
Given your previous scores, I would suggest a slightly different approach. Your current Quant and Verbal percentiles are
well below 50, indicating that you need to put in considerable effort in both Quant and Verbal. Give this, there is little benefit in figuring out your strengths and weakness (es). Hence, as a first step, take on either Quant or Verbal and spend time on the same.
Since your current ability is lower than that of the average GMAT test taker, I would not recommend taking a classroom course (online or physical); at least not at this stage. Classroom courses have the limitation that they have to proceed as per the average ability of the classroom and hence may not be best suited for your needs. Take a self-paced online course instead.
Online courses allow you to study at your own pace. Our online courses give you feedback every 20 minutes. Take our free trial. Try GMAT Online (or even one of our individual courses) if you like the same.
Lastly, I want to tell you that we have helped many students who have been in your shoes. Here are some examples:
1. Mahesh: Gave his GMAT 3 times, was unable to ace verbal during his first 2 attempts but improved in 10 days using our course. He is now studying at Babson. You can view his audio interview
here.
2. Rishi: improved from V28 to V40 in less than 30 days. Click
hereto read his debrief.
3. Ayesha: Took the GMAT thrice and could not improve her score much and was able to improve her score by a massive 120 points in a mere 20 days in her fourth attempt. Click below to read her story. from-480-to-400-to-490-to-610-my-journey-157800.html
Most recently, We had a couple of students who improved from 470 to 700+ scores.

What is important is that you do not give up and be willing to put in diligent effort.
Write to our support team (support(at)e-gmat.com) if you have any other question. BTW – attend our free session this weekend. The topic of the session is – how to improve your score by 70 points in 30 days. You will find it highly relevant to your preparation. Click the link below to register.

Once again, your score improvement is more dependent on your diligence than on number of days of effort you put in.
