How soon after you take the GMAT is the ESR available?

Question

I took the test yesterday and bought the ESR when I got home, but I don't see it available yet. How long does it usually take? Or is it ready with my official score report?

i have few questions, i will be glad if you provide me with the answers.
1.) What is ESR?
2.) For how long is GMAT score actually valid?
 i know it is valid till 5 years. Actually i recently graduated in may 2016. After that i came to prepare for GMAT. But now i am thinking to go for work experience for 2-3 years after GMAT exam(which is on 16th june). So Do you think it is a good idea?

Usually, it will be available within 24 hours. ESR is the sectionwise performance analysis of your score.

I ordered it too and it has been 60 hours and I still have not received a link to the ESR !! I tried writing an email to the store@mba.com but no one has responded yet! Please let me know if your link is up!

The ESR is the Enhanced Score Report (available  here ). You can see the type of information it provides  here .

All GMAT scores are valid for 5 years, although the GMAC keeps records for 10. It's perfectly okay if you take the GMAT first and then apply after a few years (confirm with your target schools if you have any reason to doubt this).

Although a WE is a must for mba, you may consider it worth to give gmat right after graduation because your mind is still fresh and you don't have to study from base line, imho

Not sure about this variability between students ESR. Do GMAT authorities personally go into some of their accounts and make some changes according to their own preference - perhaps geography or picture of the student herself/himself - and decide...nah she is not worth the score! Lets keep her waiting and perhaps even change her score to like 100-150 points less than what she actually has scored....

Hi DebbieChats,

The Unofficial Score Report is available immediately after you complete the Official GMAT - and since the Scores in that report are almost always identical to the ones that you will receive on your Official Score Report (and on your ESR), then what you are describing is not possible.

Did you take the online GMAT or the regular (test center) GMAT? ESRs are available only for tests taken at a test center.
