Hello, I'm writing my GMAT on December 30, this is my first attempt, I have 1 month the day I registered my exam and now only 18 days left, I have given CAT(Common Admission Test) exam, which helped me in my quant part and a little in verbal so u can say it's a 3 month preparation, I'm just a average student, not weak but average in my quant and above average in my verbal, I'm only targeting 610-620 to fulfill the university eligibility so can someone please guide me a little about how to score the marks I have mentioned above, I will be applying for Pace University, Claremont, Yale School of Management, Syracuse University and University of Buffalo, all are in NY. I forget to mention that I am using GMAT official guide 2020 and each official guide of verbal and quant.

generally, One can improve his quant. score faster than his verbal.
To give you a good advice, I wish you can share some numbers related to any mocks you have done so far. I mean, we may need numbers that reflect what do you mean by "average in quant and above average in verbal".
Anyway, 620 is probably achievable if one month is used efficiently.

Hi Saransh123,
For quants, I think you are in good position for GMAT, just follow Official guides and be active in this forum for Quants. It’s a very good resource.
For verbal, OG is good for practise, but for basics you’ll need to refer to standard books.
For SC - Manhattan SC or Aristotle SC
For CR - Power Bible CR
For RC - OG and VR are good enough.
Do make a good study plan (samples are available in this forum).
Give at least 5-6 mocks prior real GMAT
