hmc2020 varun24a I reached out to the AdCom regarding the decisions. In response, they said that they had to postpone the decision date because of "competitive pool". (I believe the school missed its deadline and trying to justify it. )

After receiving their response, I withdrew my application.

Just as a student is required to meet his deadlines, I expect the school to do so as well.
The least that they could have done is to intimate the candidates before hand instead of letting them be in the dark.
The application process is obscure enough already.
