Hello,
if anybody has been admitted, do you know how many people have already reserved a place for November 2010 intake?
I have been admitted at IE but I am waiting for other schools results.

My understanding is that after June/July you start to risk missing the November intake.

Interview was very personal and focused on the essays. Apart from that she asked the typical "why MBA" and "short term goals". Everything else I think will be irrelevant once it's contextualized in the essays. However, the type of questions was on leadership, problems that my country and the company will face in the future, etc..

Lasted about 40 min. The interviewer was kind but very formal...

In short the interview was pleasant, with no tricky questions. I have done four interviews and all of them were simple. I think there is nothing to fear in MBA interviews for those who prepared the application with dedication and veracity.

I have some silly questions regarding the IE application:

1. I did give GMAT and received a pathetic score. And worse i requested the score to be sent to IE Business school.
Will mentioning my poor score affect my application negatively?

2. There's a question in the application for which I am not able to think of an answer:
"Have you taken or will be taking the IE Admissions Test? "
I have not taken and want to take the test.. So should I fill in a yesor no

3. I wanted to apply for a waiver for English Certificate i.e. Proficiency in English as my undergraduate study was in English.
So should i leave that blank?

I spoke with someone at a QS Tour and he told me that there isn't any formal "preparation" - you just take the test cold. It's basically their alternative to the pricey GMAT. If memory serves, it's about 80 minutes, although I never took it myself.

Congratulations to all the admits and good luck to all who're waiting.
I'm interested in the IEM intn'l MBA program starting in April 2011. However, after registering online for the application, the only option available is to apply for Nov 2010!
It'll be great if someone could provide opinions on the following:
1. Is it too early/late now to apply for class starting in Apr 2011?
2. Can I apply for Nov 2010 and then ask the admissions committee to change the preference to Apr 2011?

I hope I'm not asking stupid questions, but couldn't find answers anwhere :cry:

It shouldn't matter. Once you're accepted, you'll be able to choose any one of the next three intakes to join. The question is probably for their internal estimates or something.

7 Years WE: BIG4, now financial manager (industry/world leader) - international (Europe/North America)
speaks english/german/french

I applied in June to IESE/IE

there is something wrong. I applied yesterday for the Apr 11 Intl MBA and submitted the appl online yesterday night. How is it possible that you cant get through. I gat an e-mail from Mr Julian Trigo, confirming receipt of my application. Can you check

i wanted to register for nov 2011 and it's available online already. You should def. check again for April 2011.
