Why cant we multiply 10 * 6 * 4 =240 meters first and then multiply 240 with centimeters?
You can, and that way is much easier in my opinion.
10 * 6 * 4 = 240 meters cubed
1 meter = 100 cm
1 meter squared = (100cm)^2 = 10000 cm sq.
1 meter cubed = (100cm)^3 = 1000000 cm cubed
So 240 meter cubed * 1000000 cm^3/1m^3 = answer E
