Age Today = 18 months + 12months (1year) = 30 months

X months ago- Today's Age - X = 30 - X

one year ago =18 months
now=18+12 months=30 months
x months ago he should be =30-x

Now Finn's age=18+12=30 months

So, x months ago his age was (30-x) months

Finn is 18+12=30 months today. Reducing Finn's age with x months would make him 30 minus x years old -> 30-x years old.

18+12 = 30
x months go
30 - x
