In the epic space adventure movie "Interstellar", a group of remarkable astronauts, called "Lazarus", embark on a journey to other solar systems in search of a planet suitable for humans. Each of them was supposed to land on a specific planet and figure out if it is inhabitable for humans. If the planet showed results, the astronaut can activate the beacon. If the planet reveals to be sterile, as Dr. Doyle put it, bravery of the astronauts comes in. Only 3 among the 12 astronauts activated their beacon, suggesting that their planet showed promise. 10 years later, a group of 4 astronauts embark on a journey to those 3 planets. Once through the wormhole -an intergalactic portal- they lost their transmissions. They were, however, receiving messages from Earth.
Their first stop was Miller's planet, named after the astronaut who landed on that planet. Because the planet was closet to Gargantua, the black hole, every hour spent on that planet would account for 7 years back on earth. Dr. Romily decided to stay in the hub and study the black hole, while the other 3, using the ranger, land on Miller's planet and discover that there is no surface but only water. Due to Gargantua's pull, huge waves of water were formed periodically. While searching for Dr. Miller's beacon, the astronauts confuse the distant waves with mountains. It was only when the waves came near, the astronauts rushed towards the ranger in order to get off the planet. But, they were out of time. The waves crushed on of the astronaut and water logged the ranger's engines. The draining took around 3 hours. When they reached back to the hub, 23 years has passed back on earth. They clearly were not prepared for the mission. Reality is not exactly what studies reveal.
As the movie progresses, the astronauts are faced with more challenges. One astronaut is killed in an explosion, while another throws himself into the back hole. The last astronaut reaches the final planet which indeed supports life. The whole movie focuses on the theme of love, betrayal and survival. The director of the movie, "Christopher Nolan", who is also the co-writer, used as little VFXs as possible. From the space-suits that the actors wore to the space hubs and rangers used, everything was constructed in real. Even the scenes depicting the environment of other planets in another solar system were shot at actual locations on earth. The emotions captures by the director acts as a bridge in understanding not only the theory of relativity (explained from a different angle in the movie), but also the message conveyed by the director. Despite the remarkable efforts of the director, majority of the audience didn't understand the movie at all. One explanation could be that the audience did know the basics of relativity form before, but when explained from a different perspective, they were unable to frame the analogies.

The purpose served by the last paragraph in relation to the passage is:
A) To shows that despite the unique plot, the movie failed.
The passage nowhere mentions that the movie failed overall. It was just not understood by the audience.
B) To shift the focus of the argument from plot to production of the movie.
The first 2 paragraphs describe the plot of the movie, while the third paragraph describes the efforts went into making the movie. The mode of describing the movie has changed. That's exactly what choice B says.
C) To reveal the same information but from different perspective.
Not the same but new information is presented in the 4th paragraph.
D) To reveal new information about the movie in order to reach a conclusion.
New information is presented, but no conclusion is reached. In fact, the whole passage has no conclusion. The 4th paragraph ends with what the author thinks might have been a reason behind audience not understanding the movie. But it has nothing to do with the first 2 paragraphs.

The name of the director is mentioned, but no information about him is presented. Instead, how he made the movie is discussed.
