Hi everybody! Being one of the first wait-listers for the INSEAD September 2011 intake, I thought I'd start this thread. I'm sure that all of us could use this thread as a group therapy able during this nerve-recking anticipation for the final (and hopefully positive) answer. I am not sure when the R3 deadline will be. Maybe someone accepted in R3 will answer that.
In relation to R2 was before Easter if I am not mistaken.

It seems like deposit deadline for R3 admits has already passed, but none is off the waitlist? At least from this gmatclub?

I have a question to the waitlisted folks: Apparently INSEAD don't tell us about specific review dates. It's more of a rolling process....
I was wondering if you hear about them regularly or you just do when you are taken off the waitlist ?

Can you guys enlighten me ?

You will only hear back when a decision is made (ding or offer) - unless you proactively ask for an update, which will come back as "you are still on the WL". That has been the case for me for the past 7 months since I was first put on the WL.

I think at this point chances of getting off of the WL are winding down. I would expect one last review round towards the end of July where some lucky few will get an offer and all others dinged - just my personal feeling. G'luck to all!

Well I have been waitlisted since 1st Round, does anyone know about reply one gets at the end of waitlist, I have heard that you get two types of reply:
1. Not encouraged to reapply
2. Encouraged to reapply.

In second case I have observed that in the next intake people do get in.

Can someone shed light on the percentage of people getting second reply, If someone is kept on the waitlist till the end that means that he/she was a potential candidate.
Does everyone at the end gets 2nd reply as they were kept on the waitlist till the end?

I am trying to keep my hopes high even when chances of getting off the waitlist this time are looking slim.

Can someone please open his/her knowledge bank and shed some light on this issue?

@addictive: how are you coping with this situation, I know only you as the other Indian. Are there anymore Indians on board?

Hi Mate,

I know about this standard answer on INSEAD's website but that's not the case actually.
INSEAD does encourage reapplicants in certain cases and I want know more about that, can someone help?
