Hey abhimahna bb,

Congratulation on successful roll-out of NEW USER INTERFACE. I really LOVED IT

Below are my just opinion

Below UI is awesome but could you add some color to Bookmark

The new interface looks sober with no fuss - no that the old had. It's so simple looking that buttons('report a problem', 'quote' and 'bookmark' etc.) don't feel like there are one but no big deal.
Two things observed:
1. Italics / non-italics fonts become italics in quotes. I use italics so this i don't like. Unless keeping fonts in italics in quotes has some significance, I'm fine with it.
2. Now we can quote 4 quotes which was not there in old interface.

The switch buttons are good to have.

FAQs


Q. Which forums are impacted or where can I see this new user interface?
A. This new user interface is applicable for below forums:
a) Problem Solving
b) Data Sufficiency
c) Sentence Correction
d) Critical Reasoning
e) Reading Comprehension

Q. Can I switch back to the old interface if I don't like the new interface?
A. Definitely, we have an option for you to switch back to the old interface on the click of a button as shown below. However, we will highly appreciate if you could let us know what made you switch. You can let us know by posting on this thread.



Q. Can I switch back to the new user interface if I decide to come back?
A. Similar to the above answer, we will have an option for you to switch back to our new interface. Our goal is to keep improving so as to streamline your experience. If you see an issue and you move back to the old interface, just let us know. We will respond to your request as soon as possible and then you can always go back to the new interface.



Q. What all has changed?
A. We have changed how questions will appear to you. You will see a different timer layout, 'Show Answer' button instead of Spoiler OA, a bunch of new icons and your profile on the left. Have suggestions? Post them down there!

Q. Where should I report any issues?
A. We appreciate that you found an issue and want to let us know. Please post it below and we will make sure we get it resolved with a high priority.

Don't know if anyone else has observed it or not but.
When I separate questions by kudos and open them in multiple tabs, I no longer get to the question page it just takes me to the directory of topic I'm practicing.
The new interface looks great but this is annoying!

Thanks for this update, the new user interface looks really good.
I have noticed one particular issue and would like to report it.

In the "Practice Question Bank" section, usually we get to see the questions of selected category.
Then, we click on these questions which triggers a new tab to open and this takes us to the question and forum discussions.
However, in the new user interface, when I click on a question, that question doesn't open, and instead, the same search page that displays these questions gets opened again in a new tab.
I am not sure whether others are facing or have noticed this issue.

This is the same issue reported by rajatshukla98 above.

Have you also considered having a dark theme for the website? Really helps studying in a dark room or for extended hours on the screen.

Also,

There is an issue when u Sort the search results based on number of views,


What happens when u right click on any question , and choose open in a new tab option, the question does not open up. I have found a new page of search results coming.

When I learn a program or interface, I generally don't like when it changes, so I'm probably the type of person least disposed to like a new interface. So I'm not sure if my opinions will be widely shared, but I'm not enthusiastic about the changes. I find the forum harder to read now - the text seems congested, as if the font was smaller or the kerning was tighter. The column widths on the main pages (where you see lists of threads in each forum) seems to have changed, so now you can't read the name of the most recent poster unless their name is very short. And it's now hard to identify the most relevant posts in a thread because the the kudos, bookmarks and expert flags have been made almost invisible. Even the column widths in pages containing posts have changed - now, for example, the listing of someone's GMAT score seems to be split across three lines, which wasn't true before.

There may be functional improvements that make the new interface preferable to the old one, but I don't see any mentioned in the OP here, so for now, I don't care for the changes, and I'm inclined to switch to the old version. I don't like to be critical of anyone's work, but the OP asked users to explain why they might switch to the previous version, so I'm complying with that request!

Unable to Access any questions in this new interface. Same issue in old interface as well.. Please fix it. Old interface was very good. It was simple

HI, Really loved the new gmatclub UI!!!
But after the upgrade I am facing one issue, when I sort the questions according to Kudos and then select a question, the link does not open up the selected question,
rather the page is reloaded without the kudos filter;
Any fix for this?

I would like to continue to use old one, but the change button does not respond..

I noticed that sometimes you have to click the button twice. Can you do that and see how it goes?
