Same here. They cannot lead us on for 15 days and then tell us 20 days before the deadline, sorry its actually going to remain the same.
I guess lets just wait for the official email.

Did they mention anything else as well? What would be the process for students who aren't able to submit their application before the deadline due to some reason?

Yes, If you have a valid reason for not adhering to the deadline then you can mail them and they will get back to you

This is sick man. Since the last 20 days they have been like there will be an extension and now all of a sudden.. we got a bit easy on us due to this and planned our gmat and application accordingly. What is this man. I am literally shocked.

Hi All,

While ISB might / might not grant exceptions on a case-to-case basis or extend the deadlines, what this still means for majority of you is to prepare your application / essay in parallel to the GMAT prep. Think of this as a prep for the year at ISB where you continuously juggle among a million important tasks at the same time :)
In case you haven't started on the essay, I strongly urge you to do so as it requires a lot of thought to structure the essay and more importantly, introspection. Suggest you take a few hours out from Gmat prep- think of the structure, pointers and examples for the essay to start with and then simultaneously work on both.

We are in Luck!
In the email , they say that we can submit our GMAT/GRE scores by 31st October; they don't mention anything about the essay and evaluation.
So does that mean we have to submit the essay and eval by 31st August ?

The deadline is now extended to 31st October, 2020. Although, they'd be conducting interviews on a rolling basis beginning mid September and have urged to submit our application and scores at the earliest.

Hey, I called and cleared up one doubt but again I'm not sure she mentioned nothing about the preference for any round or so, but she said the sooner you submit your application the sooner you will be done with the process, so does that mean there is no bias and each round would be evaluated separately?

I don't think that's the case. In the ISB YLP portal, all three things -- GMAT/GRE score, essay and evaluation are mandatory requirements that are to be filled in order to submit the final application.
