While ISB might / might not grant exceptions on a case-to-case basis or extend the deadlines, what this still means for majority of you is to prepare your application / essay in parallel to the GMAT prep. Think of this as a prep for the year at ISB where you continuously juggle among a million important tasks at the same time

In case you haven't started on the essay, I strongly urge you to do so as it requires a lot of thought to structure the essay and more importantly, introspection. Suggest you take a few hours out from Gmat prep- think of the structure, pointers and examples for the essay to start with and then simultaneously work on both.
