Hi People,

I am applying to Ivey in like 5 days, and I'm very worried because my recommenders are confused about how to write on the LOR?

Should they type inside the PDF? the form apparently says that they can also send a word document. How can the multiple choice selections be done on word document? I am very confused, please help out!

Please help ASAP!

Thanks!

Can someone please help out?

I guess you can fill with pdf editor and then change to word.

the reason why I am telling to fill in pdf editor is because you have choose the answer among various option. I tried to fill after changing to word but i was not able to fill it.

Hey! From what I remember, my recommenders got a link where they had to do the feedback. When selecting recommenders, you get the option to either fill in the e-mail addresses of the recommenders or download the pdf.

I am assuming since you chose the option of downloading the pdf and sharing that with the recommenders, they can just write within the pdf. I don’t think it would be that big a deal.

If you have the option still, I’d suggest just mention the details of the recommenders within the application and they will instantly receive an e-mail from the school.

Hope this helps!

Hey Such8!

The link they would receive is pretty self-explanatory. I'd added their email ID's, where they got the link. Didn't go the PDF route at all. Much easier if you go via the direct email link option.

Cheers.

Today I attempted video essay,

Question 1 - How did you overcame adversity and explain with the situation.
Question 2 - Explain one quality of yours that your future MBA classmates should know about.

Hey folks, does anyone know whether Ivey interviews everyone who submitted his or her MBA application or there are cases of rejects even before interviews?

I remember vividly that once J.D., a member of the admission team, told that they usually interview most of the students. So, in some rare cases, they will not even interview a student.

Hey there!

Not everyone gets an interview call. Kind of impossible for them to interview everyone who submits the applications.

Those who would be shortlisted for an interview would get an email for the same.

Cheers.

Thanks! I was wondering may be they have a policy similar to Kellogg’s — interview everyone or at least waive it

Hey

Somewhere on the website Ivey does mention that they donot interview all candidates and interview is by invitation.

However if you have bagged an interview, for sure thats a positive sign

GMAT is waived only this round and due date is soon. There should me many applications nowadays. That's normal I guess. In case you don't receive a reply soon, you may email them anyway.

I submitted my application on July 1st.
From whatever I have read on different forums, they are super quick in making decisions so I am a bit worried HA!
Or I might just be overthinking. Anyone in a similar situation?

zoltrex20 Hi you don’t have to worry about as it takes time. I believe they are dealing with a lot of applications because of the no gmat requirement in this round.
Apart from that you can check the status on the application page. It will show whether assessment is in progress or awaiting decision.

Hi everyone - got an offer from Ivey today with some scholarship $$. I submitted my application on June 17 and interviewed on June 23rd. The AdCom is likely swamped with many applications so may not hurt to check in with your AO on application status. Their admissions team is one of the friendliest I've worked with.

Good luck to the rest of you!
