Jamboree, Princeton, kaplan or Veritas???

Question

Dear All,

I am planning to take GMAT coaching only for Quantitative section. There are few names like Jamboree, Princeton, kaplan, Veritas. I am based out in Gurgaon Sec 14 and all ttheses centres are nearby. Can anyone give me review which centre should i join for GMAT quant section only.

Well I have been a student of Jamboree two years back, and of Princeton year back . I have used their study material which includes :- 1. Red Book ( Only for Verbal ) 2. Blue Book 3. OG 13 I do not wish to promote Jamboree on Princeton or vice-versa here on this forum because I leave that on your wise wisdom . I would like to articulate that study material provided by Jamboree is good .Although I do have had problems with faculty at Jamboree , they were not up to the mark . However the Blue Book provided by the Jamboree contains 700-800 level of quant questions which I reckon is must for every GMAT aspirant . Moreover blue book contains Drills and 250 questions each of SC , CR & RC . Again these 250 questions are part of “1000 series” questions that is widely available on GMAT Club downloads for free , I presume . You can buy Kaplan book , which provides 6 mock tests which I reckon are great . Manhattan SC guide is also excellent . It also provides 6 mock tests . These two books would cost you somewhere around Rs2500 . These 12 mocks tests are great . Veritas is good but I have not used it . But , If you still want to join a course , go for ONLINE course . E-gmat is brilliant . It is specially designed for non-native English speaker like us . I am saying this because I have attended Rajat Sadna’s webinar and I was impressed by their way of approaching a questions in GMAT in real time . I hope you find my post useful . Regards ANUJ SINGH

I suggest you prepare on your own for the Quant part using some online course. I did my course at Veritas although it was Ok but if you are not weak in maths I suggest not to spend.

In case you still want to buy some course my suggestion is to go ahead with this : https://www.gmatquantum.com

Another excellent option is to use Veritas Books for the preparation these are much better than manhattan books as they have a lot of gmat style questions.
you may get them second hand for 5K in delhi region

Since it's been over 1.5 months since you posted, my guess is that you've already made a decision and are currently studying. If you find that your Quant score is still lower than you want it to be, then I have some suggestions that would probably help.

Since you're focused on the Quant section right now, I'm curious how you've been doing on the Verbal section.
