I don't think that's true at all.

If you look at a few people who are active on this thread for R2, a lot of them have 750+ GMATs and were still waiting.

Although, some people may also be slow to report back when they've received invites.

Lastly, surprisingly no one in R2 has reported back about how their interview went. They've started some of them already nes pas?

I see that you have already got thru Johnson. Congrats !!

How many days after submitting the application did you get the interview invite.

I'm a R1 applicant and so my invite came on the same day as everyone else in the round (Nov. 5th, the initial notification deadline). I submitted the night before the R1 deadline and so it was 37 days from submission to invite. I think R2 is going a little differently because they received many more applications and trying to arrange interviews with the JAG will be difficult with recruiting and immersions going on.

Friend of mine submitted his application in November for the 1-year Tech Mba and have not received anything from the school yet, while, as I understand, the interview for that round happened in early January. Admissions office also does not provide a clear response...Is anyone here had similar experience?

Hi,

I also applied for MBA Tech in Round 2, didn't get any reply from the school, emailed them twice, and received unclear answers.

What's Super Saturday? I am not happy about the fact that admits are already participating in bonding activities and I am still checking emails everyday.

Haha, don't worry. I don't believe admits are participating in Super Saturday. For R1 they had something similar where they arranged for a large number of interviews on one Saturday and also organized several other activities for interviewees to learn more about the school and what makes Johnson unique.

I think this is Johnson's step towards what a lot of other schools are doing and adding a "group" or "team" component to the interview process. Ross already has one similar and it helps them to see how the interviewees interact in a group and among their future peers.

If you don't make it to Super Saturday I wouldn't worry. Not everyone can make it and it's not a make or break experience. I didn't attend and I still got in.

Not quite - Super Saturday is simply a day when a lot of interviews are conducted and it's meant to be a convenience to applicants who don't want to or can't take time off of work. The interview process on a Super Saturday is the same if you visited campus at any other time.

Any Indians here who have received interview invites? When do they typically STOP sending out invites? Am I supposed to just check my email every few hours till March end?

I think very few 2 Yr guys have received the invite yet. I don't think they have started sending invites out and out, good majority are expected on deadline day only. in R1, everyone received on the deadline day, so.. I guess you can give your F5 key some rest till Feb 18.

Awesome! Thanks! The F5 will still be hit for other schools though, but at least I can hold off on this one till Feb 18.
