Question for the group: I was invited to interview but could not get a slot for Super Saturday (was traveling on business and responded late to email notification this past Monday) but did book an interview for the following week. Is there any advantage/disadvantage to Super Saturday vs. other dates? Thanks!!

Received an invite today around ~9:30AM EST. It says Interviews will be conducted between February 12th and March 13th, during the hours of 9:15AM EST to 4:15PM EST. Hope that helps people plan. BOL to everyone!

I had lost hope after so long of hearing nothing from Cornell while other invites trickled in. I stopped checking this thread, and reduced the number of applicant site refreshes to once every two days instead of once every hour. Then today, my portal changed to "Schedule Interview!" No email from the admissions office yet. Do not despair, fellow applicants - there is still time!

So according to R1 data, they invite at least 59% of the gmatclub pool? Right now we are at 20% for R2. So is it safe to assume 1/3 of the invites have been sent out?

The one thing I've learned in the past few months: It is never safe to assume anything when it comes to admissions. That being said, ~60% interview rate is a bit high, but close to some others. Word is applications are up, so perhaps that's lower for R2. In an extreme case I'd say that is ~40% interview invitation rate. Even if you figure a fair number of people on GC got interviews but didn't update their status (say 10% of applicants), then for even a pretty bleak scenario there are still a bunch of invitations waiting to go out. If I had to venture a guess, I would guess that about half of the invites have gone out so far. At least, that's my convoluted logic on the whole matter. (Edit: Last year the interview rate was around 70%. That means there are still a number of invites yet to go and the original estimate of 2/3 left to be sent out doesn't seem too unreasonable)

Anyone know of an inexpensive place in Ithaca to purchase a suit last minute? Us airways managed to lose my luggage after my connecting flight. I had planned to carry my suit on to the plane, but naturally was forced to check my belongings when I arrived at the gate. Anyone have this happen? Posted from my mobile device

Triphammer mall is north of campus just off of 13. There aren't too many more options in Ithaca. Most people go to Syracuse if they want to do "real" shopping. Also it is supposed to be -30 windchill there today. Bundle up. From the national weather service: Edit: Go with dtse86's suggestion. Pyramid Mall is what I was thinking of when I said "Triphammer mall." I'm not sure Triphammer would have a suit.
