IMO- in C there is no comma " , " before "which" . Also, wh-clause gives additional & not necessary information. So, if Option C was the OA then we can remove "which revolutionized the electronics field" after " an invention". But then we won’t know the importance of that invention. That is why we need a clause/ modifier which gives necessary information about "an invention" Hence, D is preferred. 06 Jul 2023, 02:39

Q1. Doctor: Research shows that adolescents who play video games on a regular basis are three times as likely to develop carpal tunnel syndrome as are adolescents who do not play video games. Federal legislation that prohibits the sale of video games to minors would help curb this painful wrist condition among adolescents. The doctor’s conclusion depends on which of the following assumptions? (A) The majority of federal legislators would vote for a bill that prohibits the sale of video games to minors. Conc: Legislation prohibits sale of games to MINOR. So, if D is not true then parents will purchase video games for their children and this fact will weaken our conclusion because children will still be playing video games. Hence, D has to be true.
