Just took my 1st
MGMAT CAT cold...37Q and 41V for a 650
I previously took the LSAT and remember a lot of the concepts so I think those tricks helped me with verbal...So I really, really want to focus on improving quant, obviously, to something closer to 85 percentile. I guessed on almost all data sufficiency and geometry questions...also struggled very heavily with exponents.
I'm looking at 2 options:
1) Self study - I have the Manhattan set, the OG books, and I'm willing to purchase additional math books (Total GMAT, problem sets, etc)...recommendations welcome
2) Take a 9 week Manhattan Course (with a very respected instructor).
Some things to note: I'm planning to sit for the test late December or early January. I will have a lot of free time to self-study the next 5-6 months (approx 20-24 hours a week).
Any/all strategies, tips, personal anecdotes welcome...thank in advance!
