For round 1 applicants we kindly request that you wait until the week of January 7 to contact our office." - We wait this long to say we want to remain on the list (after finding out who our manager is) or do we send a quick e-mail saying I'm in and then call them on the 7th to find our manager and start discussing next steps?? Condolences and apologies for the nosy questions. It came today? Did it come via email or a notice to login for a status update? In either case, what does you online application status say? I'm wondering how much to read into the fact that mine hasn't changed. It's still the WL letter from 5/15.

Sorry to hear that. Are you international? I think all internationals may have their decision by the end of this month EDIT: The last status I see is the WL letter.

When did the notification email went out today?

Did not receive any notification email and so far no status change. Crystal01, are you also international? It may be the case that they pruned all of the international students from the waitlist due to visa constraints.
