For round 1 applicants we kindly request that you wait until the week of January 7 to contact our office." - We wait this long to say we want to remain on the list (after finding out who our manager is) or do we send a quick e-mail saying I'm in and then call them on the 7th to find our manager and start discussing next steps?? Me too. Several months ago I read the last year's thread and it seems that very few people are admitted at this point of time. At least most (if not all) of us are in great schools already :D

Did anyone not get a ding or a summer WL email?

Waitlisted again last week. I had been expecting a ding actually! I'm an international applicant & I doubt I'll be able to get my visa in time if I get accepted right this second. I asked my WL manager about it before, and she said Kellogg will leave it to the applicants to voluntarily withdraw if they think there's not going to be enough time. So it seems they don't really make an effort to make an early(-er) decision for internationals (unlike Duke!)
