Same issue here.If I delete all of the "awards and certifications" then the contents were shown correctly. Has anyone received any feedback from school?

I am having some issues with the application too...
I did some edits on the fields such as "awards and certifications," "international experiences." However, those contents were repeated twice in the "preview of application proof." I even tried to delete all of them and re-type these information. But it didn't work.

Did anyone have the same issue?

This is the exact issue I had. One of my awards had duplicate sentences. Really annoying as the preview was fine before I submitted it. I didn't notice any issues with the international experiences, though. Some of my responses cut off in the preview but I figured that it just didn't display everything.


So you just left the duplicated sentences there? I tried to remove all of them and preview again, and then it looked fine with the pre-edited contents....
I have sent an email to the admissions.... hope they could reply me back soon with solutions...

Hi all, my primary post-MBA goal is IB and my secondary goal is consulting- although I am still a bit undecided between the two. Given that Kellogg is a consulting school, do you think mentioning my primary goal could be a disadvantage?

Does the Kellogg application let you submit without uploading a resume? I had a quick moment of panic after submitting since I couldn't remember where I uploaded my resume and it doesn't show on the checklist, but then I figured that it would have not let me submit without it. Does this sound accurate or should I email to check?

I'm not sure. You might want to set up another account under a different email and click on the "Review" link and see if the application tells you that your resume is missing.

I actually just tried to check for you, but the application website for Kellogg seems to be down now, at least for me.

Edit: Website came back up and I just removed my resume and hit "Review". I got the following message:

Section Required Field or Error
Employer Missing resume.

So it looks like you can't submit without a resume.

I've been sitting at the Kellogg Office of Admissions waiting to begin my class visit. Within one hour, the office received 80+ phone calls about the PDF review duplicating sentences or having random cut-offs. The answer was always the same: don't worry about it - the Adcom sees what you submitted on the website application form, not the PDF. So there you go... don't worry about it.

Interesting. I can't think of anything that will be stopping you to do so with a different email id. Just that you will need to fill out the stuff again (including recs). It will be interesting to note whether your GMAT score report will be verified this time. Having said that, the system may prevent you from creating another profile after you enter your info. You'll need to check, I guess.

I don't think they ask for it explicitly. They're pretty aware of the university standards.

[edit]: Isn't the proof mostly on the transcript itself?

I am having so many problems with the app -- the Awards and Certifications were completely gone when I checked, and now that I have re-written them, the formatting is off when I look at the review application section. It also isn't saving the location for my activities. What is going on?!

I emailed the adcom... I hope it doesn't reflect poorly on me... I am just not sure what to do when the application isn't saving correctly!

I encountered the exact same issue... What's worse is, after I retyped the section (it was also completely gone for me), I clicked continue, went back, and everything had saved. Then I checked my application after submitting it, and one of the awards hadn't saved correctly! Ugh. I debated emailing the adcom, but didn't want to draw attention to it / thought nothing could be done.

Just got an email back from the AdCom:
"We are currently working to fix issues with the preview application proof. Disregard any errors you may see when viewing. Please double check that what you entered in each section is correct as we see what you see within the application.

Thank you for your understanding.

Sincerely,
Kellogg Admissions"

But I would still keep in mind that there is still probably a line limit (I think three lines) for each award, so I would keep to that no matter how wonky it looks on the PDF preview.

Guys.. I'm interested in getting an analysis of marking what other schools we've applied to on the Kellogg application. I'm thinking, if you say HBS, then the round 1 interview decisions are released on Kellogg's application deadline, is there potential for thinking you applied to kellogg as a backup? (i didn't). If you choose booth, could be okay.. GSB or Wharton you again have the perception of adcoms thinking something.. Guess what I'm wondering is what choice of schools do you select here to make kellogg think you're applying consistently and not choosing it as a backup? am i reading too much into this? no one asked this before so im gathering opinions.

I decided to do my video essays over the weekend and for all of my videos during my review it starts freezing around the 1:00 mark! :( I have no idea what to do now as I used up all three of my chances. HelP?

I had the same exact problem! But I was happy with my first answer, so I just stuck with it even with the freeze. At least the audio is fine..and it unfreezes after several seconds. I had no idea how to fix the problem and I didn't want to risk it happening again...I really hope Kellogg takes all these technical problems into consideration! It doesn't seem like a very fair process :(

I wondered myself and started speculating why Kellogg is asking. But in the end, I decided to just answer the question truthfully and named all the schools where I applied.

There was also a discussion about this same question. Basically, people came up with all sorts of motivations that a school could have for asking this question like weeding out people who are applying to Kellogg as a backup, as you mention. Another possible reason is that Kellogg might want to make sure that candidates have thought about what they want out of a business school, and if it looks like a candidate has applied to every top 15 school under the sun, it might make the AdCom pause and wonder whether the candidate has thought about the decision to apply.

My video also froze up for about 5-8 seconds at the 1 min mark. The audio kept working though. I am not going to try another question. Sounds like lots of us are dealing with this issue so don't see it as a big deal.

I reached out to adcom and actually got the option to waive this portion of the application...not sure if that's a positive or negative. still have not decided. what do you guys think about possibly waiving it?

I'm about to do video essay. Just want to check, as most of you feedback, the video will freeze up at about 1mins, but the audio is fine. Which means I still can talk until 1.5mins, just that the video/image pause at around 1min, is it so?
If the audio aslo freeze up at 1min, I'm thinking to prepare my answer within 1min only....
