If you're like me, you didn't get a call but received an email saying the status changed on your application and to accept/reject your place on the waitlist. It SEEMS there are some changes in the WL game than years past: in the letter it didn't tell us not to contact them. Rather, it told us to wait until mid-Jan for our WL Manager (now abbrev WM) contact info to be released. I assume we won't need to do anything until then. "When will I receive an update regarding my application status? The Admissions Committee will be rendering admit and deny decisions on a rolling basis between January and August. Thanks for the thread, ricecake. The first update for us is on Feb 26, almost a month before R2 decisions (Mar 25). Maybe they want to take a look at the R2 applicant pool and admit some of us in on 26th.. Lets have a rollcall added to the first post as well.

Waitlist here as well. I never got an email about my status. I was checking the application page regularly and eventually a link popped up. It does sound different from last year, but probably a good thing given how many issues there were getting ahold of WLMs.

pencil me in guys. Also, has anyone been WL by Kellogg before? If so, can you share your experience? Do you just sit and wait for your name to be called? Of course I assume you could be proactive and try to talk to adcom or improve your app .. but for the looks of it they just want you to wait. Any info would come in handy. Thx
