has anyone who received a rd 2 interview waiver since been contacted for an interview?
Not me.

Nope but i did email them (about 10 days ago) and they said that some of these people will be called for a phone interview in a couple of weeks. So i am guessing if they are interested in evaluating your candidacy further then those people will get a call for a phone interview by 1st week of march.

Just interviewed today on-campus with an adcom member. I think it went very well. Wouldn't call it a casual conversation exactly but it was somewhat laid back. Pretty standard tone for an interview in my experience. I feel really good about it all in all.

Questions were as follows:

1. Best experience in undergrad
2. Talked about my first job out of school.
3. Talked about my tranisiton to my next job.
4. Talk about working in a team that you did not lead.
5. Talk about a challenge you had in a team you lead.
6. What would the people you lead in that experience praise you for.
7. What do you wish you did better in that situation
8. I started my own business recently, so she asked why now. And why get an MBA so soon after starting a business.
9. Questions for her. She gave me some great info about the mindset at Kellogg and what she observes.

I didn't get the Why Kellogg question exactly, but I tried to tie each of my answers back into "why Kellogg," so it really wasn't necessary.

There were a couple things I didn't get to mention that I wish I had, but I feel great about it, honestly. Hope this info is helpful to you all!

Does anyone know when DAK II is going to be? I'm sure it's in April, but I couldn't find the exact date.
I know it is rather soon and quite optimistic, but I'm trying to plan ahead if I hear good news from adcom on March 21st.

Thanks!

Question for those who have interviewed on campus: the resume I submitted with my application was geared to be just a piece of what made up a whole application - i.e. I did not include ANY extracurriculars or undergraduate involvement as these were reflected in other sections of the application and I did not want to be redundant. I thought I might bring an alternative resume to the interview which includes these points, however, would this bring any value? I am sure the interviewer is using my submitted resume as his/ her point of reference, correct?

Hoping some on-campus interview veterans can shed some light on this - thanks in advance!

You will have to bring a copy of your résumé and give it to the admissions when you check in
The interviewer will use that copy and not the one you submitted
You also have to fill out a simple survey asking your goals and that will be used too
I don't know if its a good idea to use a different résumé but hope this answers your question

I used a different resume than I had submitted and the adcom would have had no idea it was different if I hadn't mentioned a change.

Interviewed today. Brought a diff resume than that on file because I wanted to include community/ college involvement (plus GMATclub members and AECOM oth told me this was totally fine). I reviewed the interview reports on clear admit ahead of time and am happy to report that every single question I was asked was on the clear admit forum. No surprises in the interview, unless u include being pleasantly surprised with how relaxed the atmosphere was. My adcom interviewer was very sweet and we chatted about my flight experience to Chicago for 5 mins prior to getting into the official interview. This really put my nerves at ease. Good luck to all!

Had an interview with an alum in my city this week. Was similar to the experiences shared on this forum.

However, there was a disclaimer from the alum which i thought was worth sharing. Not that people on the forum do not know about it already; but just that it came from the interviewer himself.

After exchanging pleasantries and brief introductions, he started by explaining Kellogg's method of attempting to interview everyone, which he mentioned was primarily to "identify the tangentials".

He went on to add that the interview is just a component of the entire application. And that there were applicants whom he had recommended who didnt get through, and there were applicants whom he was ambiguous about who made it (he graduated from Kellogg in 2000, and has apparently done quite a few interviews since then)

Guess any pointers will be out only on March 21st then.

My kellogg interviewer said the exact same thing. He said that there were people he was concerned about that were admitted and people he had given glowing reviews who did not even make the wait list. My interviewer graduated a couple years ago. I wonder if they are advised to say something like this?
