You only get an interview if your application makes it through the first screening stage

Hi guys. Can someone who applied in R1 share their interview experience here? Just wanted to know what the questions revolved around - I've heard that they sometimes get deep into the areas of our goals and even into political opinions. I guess it varies a lot, but if someone could share their experience, it would be great!!
