What do you mean the recorded video interview? I thought the next step after applying is the live interview, and invites will be sent out on Oct 16.

I haven't seen that confirmed anywhere.

There's a chance that we will do the recorded questions like they have been done in the past. There is also a chance that we wont have to do the recorded questions like they haven't been done in the past.

Has anyone confirmed with Ad Com?

Yes, adcom confirmed video recording and an in-person interview in one of the admission seminars held a week before R1 deadline.

No they did not. An in-person interview?! I have been to numerous information sessions (just went to the one last Friday) and they have consistently said they are NOT doing any interviews in-person.

Chill - the person was using “in-person” mainly to distinguish the two types of interview we would have to do. And by the way, AdCom said some interviews might be done in person depending on local social distancing guidance and interviewer’s preference.
