My interviewer told me that accepted candidates would receive a call earlier than 28th, have you also heard that? If that true, then there is just one day left! I am getting cold feet

My interviewer said quite the opposite Nobody called him 3 years ago, the email only.

I've heard both so anything goes I guess! Not banking on there being a phone call, but not letting my cellphone leave my side. Does anyone know if they tell you your fate in the actual email or if they direct you to the online application page to check your status? I need to be prepared! Totally unbearable...

Usually all schools state your acceptance right in the email or say something like "your application status has been changed" + link in case of rejection.

Hey guys. I was wondering if anyone can comment on your perception about careers in London. It seems from a distance that it still is in shambles, but since you are more informed maybe you have a different opinion?

Hi Ducksworth I'm UK based so might be able to shed some light. I'm not working IB/MC/Finance so there may be others with a better view than me but I don't think its too bad. London has come out of the recession and while the banking industry is still taking a bit of a hammering (mostly around regulation and fines), other areas seem to be ok. Some of my friends have been changing jobs and I haven't heard of any redundancies in a couple of years (save banks). Europe is struggling a bit so that might be an uphill battle. Maybe put a few tester emails into some UK based recruitment agencies with specialisations in the industries you're interested in? Skientist
