Just, got my e-mail and I've been shortlisted for an interview! Thought I would share my profile with you guys as well:

    20/male
BA in Law, predicted 2.1, really poor grades in first and second year.
    International profile, 3 languages.
Works experience 2 internships with small business + some retail
    700 GMAT

I thought my grades would be a serious deal-breaker, especially without an outstanding GMAT. If you averaged my three years so far my GPA would be somewhere around a 2.8 :? . Just goes to show they look at the whole package!

Really hope everybody else gets shortlisted, I nearly shat myself when I saw the e-mail! GOOD LUCK!!! :-D

any idea whatsoever what the odds are at the interview? i've found the stats for mba (+- 30% offered interview out of which +- 70% get an offer and out of those +- 85% accept and that's straight from the admission team) but the competition here must be much much tougher imo. not that this changes a thing but i do like to know what i stand against.
anyone got their date and time already btw?

Trust me, these are the numbers. So dress to impress because most people that are interviewed are rejected.

hello all,

i am currently working on my r4 app and i was hoping i could get some feedback on my profile and chances for this round (i have been hearing conflicting things on the availability of spaces and level of competition from round to round). thanks in advance!

22/m/US
GPA 3.3 from top 20 US school
GMAT 740 q47 v44 AWA 5.0
EC's some volunteer work, extensive leadership role, few other clubs and such

im assuming i will need killer essays, so any tips would be greatly appreciated!

your numbers are obviously ok. now it boils down to your essays and person and there are no tips for that) you must demonstrate why you want lbs and why it should want you. so do your research and if what you find is convincing and appealing enough just align stuff. and yes, i do want kudos for this groundbreaking advice))

nothing here either, also going to london. judging by last year they're setting up the alumni interviews with priority. i'm expecting major frictions with my school program though, my upcoming two weeks are packed with presentations and group work/

Hi! I got my interview yesterday in London. People were very nice over there
They ask you many many questions, from who you are, your leadership experiences, how would you handle certain situations, to how the school fits with you and what you want to do, as well as what you can bring to the school.
For those who are interested, my profile is a few posts above.
Those of you who had interviews please share your experience!
Good luck for those who have their interview in the next few days
