Congratulations to everyone who is invited for the R3 interviews, however, I have to say I am starting to become slightly worried about the interview dates. I hope they wont have any delays with R3 interviews because I have a nice 3 week booked holiday starting on the 9th of April...I would not want to miss the holiday, but on the other hand I would not want to miss the interview either.

Could people who have had their interviews be more specific about questions asked and the general format of the interview. Was it a mixture of competency based questions and questions regarding the application form ? This could really help( although I understand that gives us( ones who will have their interviews later, an advantage over others who have had their interviews, but still I would appreciate it :) . Cheers.

To those who will have their interviews- wish you all the best and see you in September 2011( well, lets hope I make it ) ;)


PS. gagou143 when did they notify you about the interview? Was it 2 days before the interview? or was it less than 2 days ?

I had my interview 2 days ago. They ask you about any experiences you talked about on your essays or resume and what you have learned from them blablabla...so just be prepared to talk about anything you mentioned on your application in clear bullet points and think about what you have gained during these experiences on a personal and professional level. Also, the rest of the interview was pretty much competency based for me. Example of teamwork, leadership, leadership style, time you had a conflict in a team blablabla !! Good luck

Still no date on my interview :? I guess its just taking a while for them to track alumnus down in the US.

Thanks to all that shared their experiences, I was just wondering how you prepared (if you did)? I already had an interview at my second choice school and was admitted but, that was far more conversational than i expected. My interviewer and I had alot in common (similar athletics and interests) so we really just chatted for about an hour while I walked through my resume.

I would imagine my LBS interview will be alot more involved. Ive been skimming general B School questions and thinking about them but, any advice is appreciated.

Also does anyone know how the adcom goes about admissions from the interview? Do they reconsider everything again afterwards or is it the interviewer recommendation just the final check (like a go or no go?) The longer I wait the more anxious Im getting so any help is appreciated!

I posted in the other thread but I guess this one is more relevant for MiM 2012 applicants.

I have my interviewed lined up for the 30th of March on campus in London.

My profile:

Age 23
British
2:1 in German and Business Studies from University of Warwick
GMAT 750 Q47 V47 AWA 6.0
Some translating work experience in Berlin, some finance work experience in Luxembourg
Erasmus year of study in Munich
German, French and Spanish skills
Very international upbringing

I'm just going through the most likely points that will be addressed during the interview now, I'm pretty sure I know the basis of what the interview will revolve around, it's just a case of having a solid understanding of your own position I think.

When are we suppose to hear back ?? at 5pm uk time or 7pm uk time ? Is there any chance we can hear earlier ?

I was told in my interview that it would be some time after 5 UK time. Where did you hear 7?

I don't remember..at that point the stress level came down from so high that I was not even listening to her, i was just repeating in my head: " it's over it's over, you are good now go home haha ! soo we ll see i guess.

Oddly enough, some of my fellow applicants in China received offers on as early as April 5th at approximately 1400 GMT

Studying for finals but really can't think about anything else :-) Had a look through the 'class profile' handout they gave us and was pretty disheartened because all of them seemed to have at least 2 internships with big "brand name" companies (which I don't). So not getting my hopes up but still **** my pants!

I also suggest you guys download gmail notifier: https://toolbar.google.com/gmail-helper/notifier_mac.html, otherwise you'll sit there refreshing your e-mail for 4 hours straight!
