Hi guys

I haven't been admitted yet, although I'm hopeful (I've applied in Round 3 and received an interview invite). I've got a question that I haven't managed to find answer to online (although I haven't searched extensively) - perhaps one of you can help.

Upon receiving an offer from LBS, how long do you typically have to accept or decline the offer? I noticed for Round 1 it looked like roughly six weeks (end of November until mid-January, based on your posts), although I'm wondering whether it's shorter for other Rounds?

Thanks in advance.

PHen,

please refer to the first posts on the main thread. They give you around 4 weeks.

Regards,

are you guys worried about the Brexit at all??

Not at all.

At least most of my British friends do not believe it will happen.
Even if it happens I don't believe there will be immediate consequences as there will be a series of new rules/regulations to be formulated and approved.
LBS visas and immigration department believes it would take at least 2 years for any effect on immigration issues.

I have heard the opposite, that Brexit is about 70% likely to happen, and that it will cause some disturbances but, that said, Britain has to give 2 years notice of their exit so when you say it may take 2 years to take effect you could be spot on. (I do not know what interim measures they might take)

Even if Brexit happens, discussions have to happen to determine to what degree the UK will pull back from EU integration - will they still allow the free movement of labour with the EU? I don't know. It is not an all-or-nothing situation, their policies may end up in-between a full withdrawal and being an EU member.

I'm sure there are online sources that can explain the consequences better than I can.

They were issued last week - another round will be released in May to all applicants of rounds 1 - 3.

Hi all,

Quick question - did LBS confirm receipt of your transcripts? Or did you receive any additional information on or after the date that these were due?

Thanks!

They will get in touch either to confirm your acceptance (meaning they received the money and docs) or to inform the documents were not received.
But they won't mind if you send an e-mail asking about it, I guess...

Yes LBS did send me an email informing me they received all my documents - transcripts, signed declaration etc after the date that these were due. You shouldn't worry about it - they'll definitely be in touch if they don't receive everything they need from you.
