Just wondering regarding the official Facebook group, how long did it take to get in after request to join? I'm still pending and I'm wondering whether it's because I applied to LBS using my maiden name and on Facebook I've got my married name...

Hi Guys! Congratulations! I am 25yo Indian male from Indian Institute of Technology with 4 years of work experience in Data Analytics and Data Mining. Currently working in Dubai. Wont be able to make it to the event on 5th December because of work. I was going through the funding options and Prodigy Finance looked like a good option for Intl students. However, at LBS (unlike many top B Schools in US) they offer loans only for the tuition fee and not the living expenses. People living in London currently can give a fair bit of idea on the living expenses there.

Just wondering when everyone might be planning to move to London to be ready for the start of the program? I'm wondering if moving over 2 weeks or so would give me enough time. It's a long way for me to move!

I've found from many sources that finding a flat more than two weeks in advance is unrealistic, so I guess I'd also move about that much in advance. I think it's enough time to learn the city, especially that it's an English-speaking environment.

Ok just got a call from a LBS student ambassador who advised 2.5-3 weeks. Apparently the issue isn't in finding a flat, it's in setting up bank accounts and getting credit checks etc which are required to rent a flat if you have no credit history in the UK.

Has anyone received a scholarship or any related communication? The fee payment guide noted 1-2 weeks from the day of receipt of admission notifications. One week has passed, so makes me wonder.
