Hey guys, do you know if we are going to receive an email any time soon updating us in the WL? For example American BS send you every round an "updated" decision that can be - Dinged, Remain in WL or Admitted. Does LBS do something similar?

Hi All

Is anyone still running for a seat or rather you have accepted another school?

Can the answer be: Denied? or we can only expect Accepted or Remain in WL?

It can be but I think they tend to wait to June and/or July for rejections (to hedge?). Given that a R2 got off the WL last week, I'm expecting most of us to continue being on the WL.

Like expected still on WL. I got email roughly at the same UK time as I did back in February.

I have heard that many people get it up until a week before class begins. Many have cleared thru in the final round. Don't lose hope !!!

Oh someone got off the WL in this review? Do you know his/her profile or what additional steps he/she took?

That would be sgk376. No idea what he/she has done. But he/she got off the list a week before the deadline at least.

Hey, I got off the Waitlist in the last week of April. I was in UK for work, and I met with the Waitlist manager and members of Ad com, discussed how LBS was the right fit for me in great detail with reference to my work and the future in this industry . I told them that I met with Alumni and mba classmates and attended events to feel the fit and energy. I also explained how I would be an asset to class discussions. Be honest with your interactions and speak from the heart. Good Luck everyone !!!

Could you please tell me how many days after your visit did you get your acceptance? And how did you manage to talk to the Adcom representatives?
I visited London in April too but talked only to the waitlist manager who had questions abut my post MBA plans. Yesterday I got the update and I'm still on the waitlist :(

Did you actually meet members of the admission committee? That's pretty odd. I just met the WL managers. How was the meeting with adcom? Did they prompt it?

Yes . They initiated the meeting. This happened after I attended the MBA on campus info session and did some networking.

Waitlisted (R3).

Although trying to stay positive, I can't seem to find any stats on how many people are accepted off the waitlist..

The wait continues.

Congratulations to those who did make it from the list!

Using US peers' yields (Booth, MIT, Kellogg, Columbia, Wharton), I'm estimating 15-30% of WL get an offer. I think 2 already got in out of 23 in WL in the forum, so there are left another 2-5 offers for the rest of us.

Thank you- that's probably a prudent estimate to pin our hopes on!
The next decision will be made on 15th June as per my email - I am assuming this is after the 1 month period for the first instalment for R3 admits.

Good luck all!
