Hi, Did anyone get interview call (R2)? Should I keep hope or should I look towards another year of rejection?

For those of you waiting on interviews, I got this email last Friday.

Interview calls started going out last friday and as per the stats on the first page of this forum, 10 people from this forum have been invited to interview. I got the following mail: Dear Candidate, Thank you for your interest in the USC Marshall MBA Program. We have reviewed your profile, and are inviting you to schedule an interview with a member of our Admissions Committee. We will be conducting interviews February 10-27, 2015. The interview options are as follows: 1. Interviews will be conducted on the USC Campus. We interview Monday thru Friday at the following times: 9am, 10am, 11am, 2pm 3pm and 4pm, Pacific Time. Interviews will last approximately 45 minutes. 2. If you are unable to come to campus, we invite you to interview via SKYPE. The times are the same as above. If you choose this option, please be sure your version of SKYPE is as updated as possible . Maybe they will send more invites in the coming weeks.

That's interesting that your email was quite a bit different than mine. I'm assuming it's because I'm California based and you're not. I can make a weekend trip there and back so they offered me Saturday but no option to Skype...

They'd darned better send out more invites

Yeah... It seems that they have sent different emails to local California candidates and candidates based outside California or in an international location. It is not possible for me to travel to California and hence the skype option. But it is great for you that you can visit the campus, attend a class and talk to people there.

Yeah, I'm pretty pumped for that. I'll post back with my experience, but it wont be for a few weeks since those were my options.

I have been lucky enough to receive interview invites from all schools I applied to, but have heard nothing from USC. Does anyone know from R1 if they invited everyone to interview on the same day, or if they spread them out over a week?
