Hi,

I am Business Analytics professional with 3 years work ex. Gave second shot on GMAT 2 days back.
Unexpectedly low score of 620 (Q 44, V 31). Based on my performance on the test day this score is way less than expected. So my first doubt is whether there is any GMAT score revaluation facility?
I am looking for 1 year full time MBA program with focus on subjects like strategy and business analytics (including predictive analytics).

I would like to apply for 2015 classes with my current profile and scores. Honestly not researched much into the application process and material (I mean the jargon like SOP, essays... nightmare for MBA aspirants :|). Looking for much needed guidance in applying at Universities.

To begin with I found some consultants like Jamboree and mbadreams. Any reviews about them?
Will be glad to know your recommendations too.

Regards,
Divya

Hi Divya,

Your profile looks strong. GMAT could be a problem, however you should be able to cover it up with your profile and application essays. Also choose B-Schools wisely. Try selecting the schools based on your goals and profile. This will maximize your chances of getting the admission. MBA applications need not be a nightmare, it gives you a broader vision of your past and how you are going to make your future by doing the things you do now in the best possible manner. Its always approach something with the hope of conquering it. You can find the list of B-Schools here: https://goo.gl/RZg44t

All the best!!

Hi Divya,

You look like you have good work experience. Congratulations!

The GMAT is a bit on the lower side - but might not be a bottleneck based on your aspirations. (Top schools will be difficult - but it should be possible to get you into a quality program outside of the top 15 or so.)

Call us if you need any assistance.

Karthik

This is for all prospect students who want to connect and get help on applications from current students and recent alumni.

We, current students and alumni from tier 1 business schools, started Easy MBA Admit - An Admissions Consulting service for the people, by the people. All services are at a very reasonable price because we are not here to make money but to help future students motivated by goodwill. We got the help when we wanted it, now it's our time to give back.

The services start as low as $100 (mostly to cover operational expenses). All services offered by recent alumni/current students from Tier 1 B Schools such as INSEAD, LBS, CBS, Kellogg, Stern, IESE, Wharton, etc. who were in your shoes not too long ago and hence know how to best position your application.

Feel free to reach out or schedule a Free Intro Call.

Wishing you all the best with your applications!

Cheers,
Sumit (on behalf of the Easy MBA Admit community)
