I have a school teaching experience of 9 years after M.Tech. I am interested in pursuing executive MBA from a top B-school in India. Would like to seek suggestions on what kind of job profile would be apt for me and if teaching experience is a deterrent in getting a placement. TIA

As an alum from ISB, I see your experience is aligned with at least the following roles:
a. Ed tech companies having teacher-led plays
b. L&D teams of big corporates
c. Education sector consulting
Happy to chat and guide you on how you can articulate your profile to demonstrate one of the above or something else relevant as far as your post MBA career goals are concerned while drafting your essays / SOP etc.

People do MBA even when they want to switch their career goals. It would be great if you are clear with your career goals and accordingly choose MBA that leads you to that path. Admission consultants may help us define our career goals if need be.
