Hi Guys,
Need opinion from some Alumni or person been in this situation before.
I am somehow stuck in 650 range in GMAT even after taking 3 attempts.
I wanted to understand whether 650 is decent score to get admission into Top 5 MBA colleges in Canada or Singapore?
I have an experience of almost 5yrs in a Fortune 500 company (world leader in its sector with base in US).
Job role is Engineering Analyst / New Product Development Engineer. Good work related inexperience, 4 months of International Work Ex and submitted 2 innovation ideas for Patent.
Engineering background from a well known college in India with GPA of 4.38.]
Decent Extra-curricular.
Thanks.
Hello nightvision,
Your profile looks promising. If you are specifically looking at Schulich, UC Sauder, McGill - I think it's worth a shot with your profile.
Make sure you focus on highlighting the most impactful part of your profile for the application.
Your career progression looks good. Patents also show your academic potential. Make sure you research well on the schools to highlight their importance to innovation and how you can contribute.
As a product manager, you can also showcase your leadership and analytical skills. I would suggest you go ahead and apply. There have been profiles in my experience who have got into good schools with a 650 ranging score too. If you feel that the only option and you have already done your bit trying to improve your GMAT score, go ahead and apply.
Let me know if you need any kind of help.
rgds,
Shree
