If Consulting is your goal, I’d lean more towards KF because they do have on-campus recruiting from MBB/BCG/Bain. While they only take a handful, I believe it does give slightly better odds for landing in Consulting from KF. That is my opinion though and others who are at Marshall may state otherwise.

thank you for your help FinanceMan

Post MBA would be consulting, but I don't know if in Europe or in the US.

No, I didn't get any scholarship, unfortunately.. so in terms of money I don't care too much, there is not a huge difference! I am ready to pay a bit more if necessary for my future😊

FinanceMan thank you, is super helpful, is difficult to decide from europe!

The last question, not considering the post-mba goal, which one is better in terms of reputation in the US???

Because FT ranking shows a big gap between UNC and USC, so I am bit confused...thankssss

The Trojan network is HUGE. So in terms of overall reputation I’d probably give the hand to USC Marshall. A buddy of mine just graduated from the MBA program there and loved it. However, were it me, I’d go with Kenan-Flagler. I am a Fuqua student so I am putting personal bias aside in saying that. Lol

I feel UNC is strong in consulting - they have MBB’s in campus. That is huge. That is not something any business school in Los Angeles (or west coast?) can brag about.

Hi michvicomarvbo,

Congrats on receiving both the admits! Having had received admits from both school myself, I can as well echo to the pointers suggested above. Both the schools are equally reputed across though USC might be ranked higher. Traditionally, ecosystem at USC would support you more for post MBA goals in Tech while UNC has good weight in consulting. You can give preference to school based on your post MBA goal, since their rankings don't differ much considering only US B-schools in scope.

Regards,
Saurabh
