Just finished my skype interview with a very pleasant second year student at Mccombs..It was short and sweet (31 minutes to be exact) and very conversational...He did not ask the generic WALK ME THROUGH YOUR RESUME question 
...went straight to the more meaningful questions of why mccombs, why mba, why now..where would you like to contribute within the organizaitons..In the end he asked me a very interesting question..What have you learnt about yourself through the application process ... All in all a very plesant interview which was about as relaxed as one could expect...They just want to see the FIT and want to know the reasons behind your decision to choose Mccombs..You have to actually DESIRE to be a longhorn and thats what they are trying to guage...

I certainly agree that the last question, What have you learnt about yourself through the application process, is the best I have come across....went straight to the more meaningful questions of why mccombs, why mba, why now..where would you like to contribute within the organizaitons..In the end he asked me a very interesting question..What have you learnt about yourself through the application process ...
