Good luck, man! I was waitlisted with an interview - so let's hope January-February give us all some good news.

I'm not sure what to expect, actually. They had asked for an additional "waitlist" essay, right? I had only minor updates (some 3-4) since October, so I just wrote them. Let's see what happens...

Hello GMATCLUB Members,

We are bringing a webinar with Q&A as well as chats with current students focused on the Waitlisted Applicants.

The first event of this series is Webinar conducted by Admissionado's Founder and HBS Alum Jon Frank. Jon will share his suggestions followed by a Q&A session. This is your opportunity to ask your specific questions. The webinar will take place on 31st January 2014, Friday, 9 AM PST.

We shall also be conducting chat sessions with some Current students from various schools who were successfully admitted from a waitlist so you can learn what to expect from the process, what worked for them, and what it takes. These chats shall take place in our Chat Room. We will release the times & Dates (all will be the first week of February)

Well. I interviewed in R1 and was later waitlisted, and got an update last night that I have again been placed on the waitlist.

Waitlisted with interview. My record so far is Ding, Waitlist, Waitlist, and pending. Pending is McCombs which has the highest rating of all schools. So I'm not holding my breath.

I'm with you. I have gotten two waitlists with McCombs to go. Kellogg is essentially a ding because they didnt interview me. Just waiting on the final notification. It's getting tougher and tougher to stay optimistic.

For those that got wait listed, did your decision letter include the follow recommendations:

-If your GMAT or GRE score is below our average, you may retake the exam and scan and email your unofficial score report. Please ensure that official scores are sent to us promptly.

-You may submit an additional essay that highlights any changes in your professional or personal experience since the time you submitted your application. New information is most effective when it provides a different or updated perspective to the Admissions Committee.

I am just wondering if these are personally tailored to what specific applications were lacking, or if they are a blanket statement to all wait listed.
