Confimed my seat today. I am heading to DC. Hoping to see some of you in July.
Just curious, when is "Welcome Weekend"?

The first welcome weekend was sometime in January and second welcome weekend was in different parts of the world where adcoms travelled to and interacted with all the admitted students.
Now, I think, they have the orientation in July for international students.
I got the call about half an hour ago. Haven't received the informational email yet, so take it with a grain of salt, but she told me Welcome Weekend would be the weekend of April 17th.
Anyone get scholarship money? The admitted student site says this info would be in the letter of admission, but there is no mention of it either way in the online letter.
Other schools have stated whether I will be receiving a scholarship or not in the letter - wondering if McDonough is hiding this somewhere else.

I guess no mention means no scholarship
Last year also nobody in R2 seems to have gotten scholarships.

Man that's such a bummer. I applied in R1 specifically to get a better chance at a scholarship and got waitlisted, but I was admitted yesterday. Obviously I'm THRILLED and glad I made it off the waitlist, but unfortunately sans scholarship. Ah well!
So I've paid my deposit and sent in my official transcripts, is there anything else we are supposed to be doing? There is such a long gap between admission and matriculation that I'm afraid I'm going to forget something! I know there are the career webinars in June, but that's it until orientation, right?
are there any groups for matriculating students? see you all this fall!

Has anyone asked for an extension on the deposit? When I interviewed at another school on Friday they said that many b-schools give extensions to give people more time to decide. Has anyone done that for McDonough? And if so, how did you word it?
