Thanks for the response. I did not get any scholarships.
Are there any chances of getting a waiver or scholarship in the second year in the program?

As per my knowledge a couple of scholarships exist in second year, again it is very competitive.Other options for you are: TA positions (1st year in other departments and 2nd year in the B-School) and summer internship.

Hi!

Have all of the wait-listed applicants heard from the school? I got wait-listed in Feb, and I am wondering if I should wait any longer for the school's decision.....

Hey I just cancelled my enrollment at UCI (admitted with 40K USD) and decided to enrolled at USC Marshall( offered half tuition remission)

The UCI adcom has been extremely nice, but unfortunately, I tried to reached out to about 10 alumni and only 1 finally got back to me. Another reason that I chose USC is that USC has a strong emphasis on entrepreneurship with very successful alumni, along with a strong curriculum in other field.



What's funny is I ended up picking UCI over USC for almost the same reason. All the UCI alumni I contacted took time to email and call me and adcom at UCI was amazing. Everything at USC was just meh. Now in the end the decision I made was pointless as I got $ at UCI and was waitlisted at USC (Pretty sure my half hearted, rushed app for USC had something to do with that)

Either way sounds like we both got into schools we'll be happy with. Congrats and good luck.
