The answer to this question (and so many in admissions) is it depends. It depends on what you want to do. If the MiM will enable you to pursue your chosen career, then I would go for the MiM. it's less expensive. If you don't think it will enable you to achieve your career goals, wait and go for the MBA.
You may also want to look into Ross' and Duke's MiM programs. Also make sure that you won't have too much experience for the MiM.
