I am new to this board, but would like to express my warmest holiday wishes to everyone!
A little about me: I live in the Boston, MA area- work experience-operations.
Here is a timeline of my application process.
Received GMAT Waiver: June 5
Invitation for Phone Discussion: July 28
Submitted Application: Sept 20 (Round 1)
Campus Visit: Sept 28
Interview Invite: Dec 3
In person interview: Dec 17 with the Associate Director of Admissions
Skype discussion: Dec 30 with the Director of Admissions
As everyone has already communicated on this forum: The interview focused on essays and resume. The discussion focused on expectations from both parties. The entire MIT admissions team was a pleasure to talk to and should be admired for the great job they perform handing all the applications, answering questions, etc!
I believe everyone who is done with their interviews will know if they are offered a seat in the program next week. Stephen Sacca mentioned to me during our discussion this morning that the office is presently on vacation, and re-opens next week.

Hi Swesloan,
I thought it would be this week too. I got that impression from my "first" interview.
After talking to SS this morning, he did say the office was closed, everyone was on vacation, and next week it would re-open. I guess we will all have to wait and see!
