Had my interview on Jan 16th with Mr.Sacca in India. Any international applicants who are not fast tracked got an decision yet? How long does it usually take fr normal applicants to receive an update post interview?? Very anxious as you can understand.

Could someone share whether the director interview is mandatory or optional?

I had my first interview with the Associate Director-Approx 1 hour long, and then was invited on another date to have a 20 minute discussion with the Director.

My best guess is, if you do not have your first interview with the Director, you will be invited to have a discussion with the Director at some point if they are considering to offer you a seat in the program.

Admitted members, will you be able to get a statistic of how many seats are filled? I understand there will be a welcome message and you get to see how many have read it / viewed it so far :-) That may be a good indicator to know the number of seats filled.

I know personally I have looked at the video several times, and passed it on to family members. I do not think we can use the views as the indicator of how many seats are left.

Though, it was a good idea! :)

Congrats to all. I recently had my interview with SS as well. It appears that if you have your interview with him than you do not need to do another one. So, in essence, it saves you step.

Anxiously waiting like many of you. One thing that was mentioned at the outset of the interview is that there have been a record number of applicants this year for 120 or so seats. It also sounded like less than half of the seats have been given. So, there is still a strong chance for all of us who are waiting to hear something in the coming weeks. Also, keep in mind, the final round only just closed.

I have my interview scheduled for February 3rd in São Paulo, Brazil. I also heard that this year is particularly tough since there is a large number of candidates. I applied for HEC Montreal and I got accepted. I am hoping for the best outcome on MIT Sloan Fellow however with little hope . I am happy to be considered for the interview.

A great interview experience with SS ,thankful to him for spending an hour ,however the result is a reject ...Still trying to demystify what went wrong ...best luck and congrats to friends who have made it to SF ....
